Mr. Sean Huyett joined the staff of Westminster Canterbury Lynchburg on May 27, 2010 as President and CEO. Mr. Huyett is a licensed nursing home administrator. As CEO, Sean is responsible for the overall operations of Westminster Canterbury, a continuing care retirement community.
Before coming to Westminster Canterbury, Mr. Huyett was the Executive Director at Scotia Village and Glenaire, both affiliates of the Presbyterian Homes, Inc. for eight years. Prior to that, Sean was the Administrator at Belle Meade/ St. Joseph of the Pines Health Systems in Southern Pines, NC where he was responsible for the management of 176 skilled nursing beds and 40 assisted living beds. Sean worked at Belle Meade for 3 years. Prior to Belle Meade, Sean worked for Britthaven, Inc., a for-profit nursing home chain with facilities in North Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky. While working for Britthaven, Sean managed facilities in Wrightsville Beach and Wilson.
Mr. Huyett has a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration and a Master of Business Administration from James Madison University.
Sean currently resides in Lynchburg with his wife Leigh and two children.
