It is a great feeling when your town is in the national news for something positive, and that's just what happened when Travel & Leisure put out their list of the "25 Best College Towns and Cities in the United States."

Lynchburg, Virginia is a thriving community that is rich with history, full of arts and family fun, as well as some beautiful places to hike, walk and explore. As a town that includes two universities, two colleges and a community college, Lynchburg has become a place that many can call home. Due to this, it has also worked hard to keep up with the increasing amount of students who flood the town every year—producing multiple outlets that can be enjoyed by all.
