You can help Mission 2020
Our Home, Our Family, Our Future
Construction of the new health center was a strategic decision by our Board of Trustees to support, honor and uplift the lives of our residents as we pursue our commitment to Person Directed Living. This building will provide the type of healthcare setting our residents and their families expect; moving us away from the medical model of care into households that support individuals’ independence and well-being.
Construction is scheduled for completion in 2019 at a total cost of $43.5 million. Philanthropy is critical to the successful accomplishment of this important initiative.
The Westminster Canterbury-Lynchburg Foundation Board is leading the Mission 2020 Capital Campaign. Our volunteers have raised more than half of the $3 million goal and that momentum continues.
Campaign gifts help us move forward quickly to accomplish this work and will offset the expenditures of such a large project. Residents’ monthly fees will not be affected by the construction expenses.
We are confident that the long-term benefits to quality of life and a return on our shared investment on this campus will be transformational as residents and their families enjoy better services provided by these improvements.
Please consider this opportunity to make your commitment to this important initiative. You’ll be in good company as you join our residents, board members, families and area businesses supporting this project. All donations are tax-deductible.
Your gift will make a difference in the lives of WC-L residents for years to come.
