Residents React to COVID-19 Actions

From our most vulnerable Healthcare residents to Independent Living, our Health Teams are keeping everyone safe on campus.  Here are a few comments residents shared about the COVID-19 safety protocols implemented this week on campus:

"The staff and administration at WC Lynchburg have gone out of their way to do what they can to protect us at this unusual time. They have made changes in all areas from how the mail will be distributed, to new food serving guidelines, to providing up-to-date helpful information on how to best protect all those on campus. We feel blessed to be here and are truly thanksful for those who care for us." C. Hammer, Resident

"Times like these require a competent and dedicated leader. Sean Huyett is that kind of a leader-unquestionably so. He has assembled a staff who is second to none. How comforting it is to residents and patients alike." G. Cobb, Resident Family Member

"During this challenge of the coronavirus, we are even more appreciative of this wonderful community. The administration and staff have been doing everything possible to keep us safe, including doing our grocery shopping should we wish. Communication about whom to call should we feel ill, what WCL is doing to protect us, and generally what is happening has been exceptional. We are reminded every day how fortunate we are to be here. We can't thank you all enough!"             P. Viall, Resident
