Providing Strength and Stability for Over 35 Years
Westminster Canterbury-Lynchburg is a nonprofit, interfaith, Life Plan Retirement Community founded by the Episcopal and Presbyterian churches. The organization has more than 35 years’ experience creating the best possible environment for residents and follows a Person Directed Living philosophy for all services on its campus. What began as two apartment buildings with a health services center has grown and evolved into an organization that provides healthcare, wellness and recreational services to 450 older adults on its residential campus.
Our mission is to promote independence and dignity, and to provide quality housing and healthcare services in a fiscally responsible manner. Proven leadership, skilled management and resident involvement enable us to meet your needs both now and in the future.
Westminster Canterbury-Lynchburg is certified by CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. This national accreditation confirms our commitment to meeting standards of excellence that assure the comfort and peace of mind of all residents. We consistently receive high marks from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. These results have prompted U.S. News and World Report to include us in its five-star rating list as one of the Best Nursing Homes in the nation for multiple years.
