Sean Huyett Re-Elected to State Board

Will serve as secretary

Lynchburg, Virginia — June 2016

Sean Huyett, president and CEO of Westminster Canterbury-Lynchburg, has been re-elected to the Board of Directors for LeadingAge Virginia.

Huyett’s appointment to this state-wide organization occurred during the association’s recent annual conference and trade show in Williamsburg, VA. He will serve the group as Secretary.

“I look forward to working with my colleagues and our new president, Melissa Anderson, as we work to enhance the services we provide to our members and the older adults we all serve,” Huyett said.

As CEO of Westminster Canterbury-Lynchburg, Huyett has lead the community for six years. Under his leadership, the organization has strengthened its position as a life plan community serving Central Virginia through continued annual upgrades and renovations, and its commitment to person-centered care in its health service areas.

LeadingAge Virginia is a membership association composed of non-profit organizations that works to provide strategic direction to help its members remain viable and effective in serving seniors and expanding the world of possibilities for aging. The national LeadingAge headquarters is in Washington, DC.
